Les revenus ont augment\u00e9 de 37% pour atteindre un record trimestriel de $15 416 000 au deuxi\u00e8me trimestre 2021 par rapport \u00e0 $11 270 000 l'ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, principalement en raison d'une augmentation de 13% des fonds moyens employ\u00e9s et de l'am\u00e9lioration des rendements moyens et autres revenus, principalement des frais d'origination et de mise en place. Les fonds moyens employ\u00e9s \u00e9taient de $385 millions au cours du trimestre en cours, contre $341 millions l'ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re. Les fonds employ\u00e9s au 30 juin 2021 s'\u00e9levaient \u00e0 un record de $406 millions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le b\u00e9n\u00e9fice net attribuable aux actionnaires (\u00ab\u00a0r\u00e9sultat net des actionnaires\u00a0\u00bb) a diminu\u00e9 de $1\u00a0258\u00a0000 \u00e0 $3\u00a0085\u00a0000 au deuxi\u00e8me trimestre de 2021 par rapport au record trimestriel de $4\u00a0343\u00a0000 r\u00e9alis\u00e9 l'an dernier. Le b\u00e9n\u00e9fice net des actionnaires \u00e9tait de 19% en avance sur le premier trimestre 2021 et de 39% sup\u00e9rieur au deuxi\u00e8me trimestre de 2019 et repr\u00e9sentait le quatri\u00e8me meilleur b\u00e9n\u00e9fice trimestriel d'Accord alors qu'elle continue de se remettre des impacts \u00e9conomiques n\u00e9gatifs de Covid-19. Le b\u00e9n\u00e9fice net des actionnaires de l'ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re a \u00e9t\u00e9 stimul\u00e9 par le recouvrement d'une perte sur pr\u00eat de $2 615 000, net d'imp\u00f4t, et un recouvrement d'imp\u00f4ts non r\u00e9current de $881 000. Le b\u00e9n\u00e9fice par action ordinaire (\u00ab BPA \u00bb) \u00e9tait de 36 cents comparativement \u00e0 51 cents l'an dernier. Le b\u00e9n\u00e9fice net ajust\u00e9 \u00e9tait de $3 161 000 par rapport aux $ 4 730 000 gagn\u00e9s au deuxi\u00e8me trimestre de 2020. Le BPA ajust\u00e9 \u00e9tait de 37 cents contre 55 cents l'an dernier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le b\u00e9n\u00e9fice net des actionnaires au cours des six premiers mois de 2021 \u00e9tait un record au premier semestre de $5 670 000 par rapport \u00e0 une perte nette des actionnaires de $1 534 000 en 2020. L'augmentation du b\u00e9n\u00e9fice net r\u00e9sulte principalement de la hausse des revenus et d'une diminution des provisions pour pertes. Le BPA a \u00e9galement atteint un record au premier semestre de 66 cents par rapport \u00e0 une perte par action ordinaire (\u00ab LPS \u00bb) de 18 cents l'an dernier. Le b\u00e9n\u00e9fice net ajust\u00e9 du premier semestre a atteint un record de $5 844 000 (BPA ajust\u00e9 de 68 cents par action) par rapport \u00e0 la perte nette ajust\u00e9e de $684 000 (LPS ajust\u00e9 de 8 cents par action) au premier semestre 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les revenus ont augment\u00e9 de 24% pour atteindre un record sur six mois de $28 897 000 en 2021 par rapport \u00e0 $23 285 000 l'ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, principalement en raison d'une augmentation de 5% des fonds moyens employ\u00e9s, de l'am\u00e9lioration des rendements moyens et de la hausse des autres revenus. Les fonds moyens employ\u00e9s au premier semestre 2021 \u00e9taient de $371 millions contre $352 millions l'ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commentant les r\u00e9sultats financiers, le pr\u00e9sident et chef de la direction de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, M. Simon Hitzig, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : jusqu'\u00e0 la pand\u00e9mie. La croissance au premier semestre 2021 refl\u00e8te l'acquisition r\u00e9guli\u00e8re de nouveaux clients, en partie tir\u00e9e par de nouveaux produits, et en partie par l'acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration de l'\u00e9conomie. Les revenus et les b\u00e9n\u00e9fices b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient \u00e9galement d'un changement dans la composition du portefeuille d'Accord, qui, au cours des derniers trimestres, s'est orient\u00e9 vers des segments \u00e0 rendement plus \u00e9lev\u00e9, en particulier dans notre division canadienne des petites entreprises et notre division de financement des m\u00e9dias bas\u00e9e aux \u00c9tats-Unis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 utilise diverses autres mesures financi\u00e8res pour surveiller son rendement; elle est d'avis que ces mesures peuvent \u00eatre utiles aux investisseurs d\u00e9sireux d'\u00e9valuer le rendement op\u00e9rationnel de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 et sa situation financi\u00e8re. Ces mesures peuvent ne pas avoir de d\u00e9finitions ou de m\u00e9thodes de calcul normalis\u00e9es aux termes des IFRS pour assurer l'uniformit\u00e9 entre les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s utilisant ces mesures; elles sont donc consid\u00e9r\u00e9es comme des mesures non conformes aux IFRS. La Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 calcule ces mesures \u00e0 partir des montants pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s dans ses \u00e9tats financiers pr\u00e9par\u00e9s conform\u00e9ment aux IFRS. Le b\u00e9n\u00e9fice net ajust\u00e9 comprend le b\u00e9n\u00e9fice net des actionnaires avant la r\u00e9mun\u00e9ration \u00e0 base d'actions, les charges d'acquisition d'entreprises (les frais de transaction et d'int\u00e9gration et l'amortissement des actifs incorporels) et les charges de restructuration. Le BPA ajust\u00e9 (de base et dilu\u00e9) correspond au b\u00e9n\u00e9fice net ajust\u00e9, divis\u00e9 par le nombre moyen pond\u00e9r\u00e9 d'actions ordinaires en circulation (de base et dilu\u00e9) au cours de la p\u00e9riode. La direction est d'avis que le b\u00e9n\u00e9fice net ajust\u00e9 est une mesure du rendement op\u00e9rationnel plus appropri\u00e9e, parce qu'il exclut les \u00e9l\u00e9ments sans lien avec les activit\u00e9s op\u00e9rationnelles poursuivies.
