Tara Skewes creates close, mutually-beneficial partnerships with referral sources.
Beginning in junior roles in finance and working tirelessly to achieve her current position, Tara's keen insight into the psychology of people and business guides her passion for creating a positive impact in the industry.
Today, Tara took some time to speak about her and Accord’s relationship with our trusted partners. See what she has to say:
“I work closely with our referral sources of business—a critical, front-facing role that works closely with them to ensure they understand our products and our decision making. In a competitive marketplace, like small business lending, Accord is somewhat unique in the level of effort we put into ensuring a high level of constant communication and teamwork with our sources of business.
A close relationship with our referral sources provides for a mutually-beneficial experience. By ensuring they understand our decision making, and thus our products better, it provides them with what they need to match potential transactions with us. It also allows for a dynamic feedback loop, where we can continuously gather their feedback and contemplate it as we develop our products. In a fast-changing credit and economic environment like we are in now, this feedback loop takes on an even higher level of importance.”
Tara was recently promoted to Director of Small Ticket Products, due to her tremendous work as a Relationship Manager. She is just one example of Accord’s many amazing Relationship Managers, each of whom understand the importance of concise communication and empowering our referral sources to identify the circumstances where our products best enable their clients to succeed.
